Here are some photos I’ve taken of flowers. Nothing crazy, but I think they’re pretty. Honestly, I think everyone should take a moment every now and then to stop and appreciate the beauty they bring. I even got a couple shots with a butterfly! Anyways, I hope you all enjoy them too. I’m sure I’ll have plenty more to post in the future.

This summer I went to Maryland to visit some family. We took a day to wander around Assateague Island and take some pictures of the wild life. It really is a lovely place to just walk around and take in the scenery. The island is also home to some wild horses, which were cool to see too.

A little less than a year ago I decided to start getting into photography. The more photos I take the more I realize that I want to show them to people. I don’t have any one specific thing that I take pictures of, rather I just capture what I like. I would like to share with the world the places I go and the things I see, so, along with my photos, I will probably end up sharing my thoughts and feelings about these experiences. In this journey to share my art and experiences, I figured blogging about it would be a step in the right direction.
